In marketing the 'feel good' factor is always mentioned in meetings, but can it be measured?
Well, it's starting to be. Mappiness is a social experiment to measure the happiness of the UK at any given moment - and you can join in right now.
To find out more, visit the web site at www.mappiness.org.uk - you will need an iPhone to contribute at the moment.
To take part you need to download the App from the App Store. It will then start asking you where you are and how you feel on regular occasions (about once a day).
Your response is then plotted as an average (anonymously) as an indicator of how happy people in your area are. I've just checked and Leeds seems to be extremely happy, must be the sun!!!
